Health Technology Sector Group

The Health Technology Sector Group is co-chaired by Gavin Fox-Smith and Chandra Selvadurai

This group of industry leaders and health sector officials has four priorities. The first is to encourage trans-Tasman interoperability and wellness by enabling patients and travellers to have access to their health information online, including medication management.

Second, increasing the level of interaction and awareness across the Tasman in digital health to enable collaboration opportunities. Third, creating a platform where emerging health technologies can be developed, shared and accelerated to advance patient care. Fourth, to create a platform to drive international interest in Australian and New Zealand health technologies and data insights, into innovation occurring in the public and private sector for medical devices and digital health technologies.
