Innovation Sector Group
A key focus for the Innovation Sector Group has been the launch of the Trans-Tasman Innovation and Growth Awards. The inaugural awards were announced at the 2019 Forum dinner.
The Innovation Sector Group hosted the launch of the Australia New Zealand Agritech Council during the ANZLF 2019 event.
The ANZLF advocates for the importance of trans-Tasman data sharing and the need to remove barriers to innovation in this area. Other priorities include better access to capital for innovative businesses and addressing the skills gap in the technology sector.
The ANZLF supports a range of innovative trans-Tasman initiatives such as the roll out of e-invoicing to improve payment practices for business and establishing a trans-Tasman mediation mechanism for SMEs.
